Q2. How many workers will be in my house?
Only myself (non-smoker).

A re-surfaced bath should be left out of use for 48 hours (but this can vary depending on certain conditions).

Q8. We are refurbishing our bathroom - what stage do you come in?
Ideally, after the building and tiler but before you re-decorate.

Q9. How durable will the new surface be?
Very hard wearing with excellent gloss retention under normal conditions.

Q10. How do I keep my baths new surface looking like new?
Your bath will be easy to clean using a soft sponge and spray-on cleaners - avoid using abrasive cream cleaners such as vim and scouring pads.

Deep gloss wet look finish easy to clean surface.

Bath re-surfacing procedure

1. Thorough cleaning of the old surface
2. Heating and drying of the old surface
3. Repair of chips, rusting and pitting
4. Masking surrounding areas
5. Room preparation (dust sheeting, ventilation, dust extraction, etc)
6. Spray on bonding solution
7. Spray on primer (2 applications)
8. Spray on top coating (5-6 applications)
9. Machine polishing of new surface
10. De-masking and tidying up. Run through of aftercare instructions and guarantee with customer

This is my standard procedure, please remember that not all Bath Re-Surfacing Companies will give your bath the same time and attention that is needed to get the job right first time. This is why I will spend up to 6 hours carrying out the job, not 3.
